It’s pledge time again at KQED. It’s intentional. It has to be. Talking about the “This American Life” Tumblers, Matt Elmore (sic?) and some other guy named Greg said along the way:
“And you can tell guests that story as they drink liquid out of these tumblers.”
“June Carter and Jonny Cash seem to have some sort of fire coming out of their mouths.”
“That would be the Ring of Fire, Matt”
“You Betcha.”
It just makes me long for Timothy. Turns out we got the RadioShark. Now I think we’ll go for the New Yorker on DVD, but only if someone says:
“I believe that was used in a Preparation H ad once.”
